O.Y MEMBERS Policy

The O.Y MEMBERS Program (the "Program") is a free rewards program provided by CJ Olive Young USA Inc ("Company" or "OLIVE YOUNG US") for customers in the United States to earn reward points that can be redeemed toward discounts on select purchases ("Rewards") on the US Online and Offline Stores.
To become a member, the following conditions must be satisfied:
- You must be a resident of the United States and at least 16 years old.
- You must have the capacity to enter into a legally binding contract, and if you do not have such legal capacity, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms.
- You must not use another person's name or a shared account.
- You must register for a customer account with Company.
Upon registering a customer account with OLIVE YOUNG US, you are automatically enrolled in the O.Y MEMBERS Program as well. The Company may verify or restrict eligibility for enrollment for compliance with applicable laws and customer protection. The Program applies only to the U.S.-exclusive online mall and offline stores within the United States.
This Program is operated separately from the programs of other OLIVE YOUNG affiliates, and the scope of application and benefit structure may differ.
OLIVE YOUNG US reserves the right to modify, upgrade, or change any part of the Program at any time without prior notice at its sole discretion. Changes to the Program or Rewards structure will be posted on the US Online Store and effective immediately, as indicated by the effective date. The updated Terms supersede the previous version.
2. Tier Structure and Tier Determination
Tier Structure
The Program consists of three tiers of membership ("O.Y MEMBERS Tier"). Your tier status is determined based on your Eligible Purchase Amount cumulative over a preceding six (6) month period.
New members will automatically start in the Friend Tier upon enrollment. Members may be elevated to higher O.Y MEMBERS Tiers as they meet the following cumulative spending thresholds.
The tier structure of the Program is classified as follows.
- Friend Tier: New enrollment and an Eligible Purchase Amount of less than $300
- Green Tier: An Eligible Purchase Amount of $300 or more, but less than $600
- Gold Tier: An Eligible Purchase Amount of $600 or more
Reaching higher O.Y MEMBERS Tiers allows you to earn Rewards at an increased rate for the same amount of spend, which are detailed in Section 3 below.
"Eligible Purchase Amount" is defined as the net amount paid for merchandise at the US Online or Offline Stores, excluding the following:
- Canceled or refunded amounts;
- Shipping and handling fees;
- Taxes (e.g. sales taxes);
- Discounts, coupons, or promotional credits;
- Amounts paid using reward points;
- Cost of shopping bags (in-store purchases);
- Gift wrapping fees (if any); and
- The retail value of any 'gift with purchase' items.
Tier Determination
Automatic Upgrades: Members will receive an automatic upgrade to the next tier on the following day once the required Eligible Purchase Amount is met.
Semi-Annual Re-evaluation: All membership tiers are officially re-evaluated on the first business day of January and July each year. This process reviews the Eligible Purchase Amount accumulated during the immediately preceding six (6) month period to determine the member's tier for the upcoming half-year.
3. Basic Reward Point Policy
Usage and Value
Points are rewards that may be used to discount part or all of a purchase on the US Online Store and US Offline Store. Each point earned may be used for a one dollar ($1.00) discount off the value of a purchase. Points are promotional and have no cash value, and are not cash-equivalent assets. Points may not be sold, traded, gifted, or transferred to another person, or redeemed for cash.
Earning and Redeeming Points
If you are an O.Y MEMBERS, we may, at the Company's sole discretion, credit reward points to your account for eligible activities, including but not limited to, registering or converting an O.Y account, signing up for the Program, making eligible product purchases, participating in events, following the Company on social media, referring a friend, writing a review on the US Online Store, or celebrating your birthday.
To earn or redeem points, you must be logged into your customer account for online purchases, or present the Program QR code or your customer account number to the cashier at the offline stores. Points can only be redeemed using one account ID per transaction. Combining points from two or more account IDs in a single purchase is not allowed.
Tier-Based Accrual Rates
The number of points earned is based on your assigned O.Y MEMBERS Tier and the Eligible Purchase Amount.
- Friend Tier: 1.0% of the Eligible Purchase Amount (e.g., $100 purchase = 1.0 point)
- Green Tier: 1.5% of the Eligible Purchase Amount (e.g., $100 purchase = 1.5 points)
- Gold Tier: 2.0% of the Eligible Purchase Amount (e.g., $100 purchase = 2.0 points)
Point Calculation & Accrual
Points are rounded to the second decimal place as follows and credited to your account. To determine the final amount, any digits beyond the third decimal are first dropped (Truncate: e.g., 1.964xxx becomes 1.964). If the remaining third decimal digit is greater than zero, the value is then rounded up to the nearest second decimal place (e.g., 1.964 becomes 1.97).
Point Issuance Timing
Points are credited to your account after purchase or delivery completion:
- Online Purchases: Points are issued one (1) day after delivery is completed.
- In-Store Purchases: Points are issued one (1) day after the date of purchase.
- Promotional or Event Points: The issuance timing for promotional points may vary by campaign and will be stated in the respective event terms, if applicable.
Expiration
Points shall expire when the indicated validity period arrives or when the account holding them is terminated. Expired points cannot be restored under any circumstances.
- Purchase-earned points: Valid for two (2) years from the date of issuance.
- Promotional or event points: Expiration periods vary by campaign and will be stated in the respective event terms, if applicable.
Restoration
If you cancel or return an item that was paid for using reward points, those points will be restored to your account.
- Partial Returns: In the case of a partial return, points will be restored in proportion to the value of the returned items.
- Expiration of Restored Points: Restored points will retain their original expiration date. If the points have already expired by the time the return or cancellation is processed, they will not be restorable, extendable, or exchangeable.
Deduction
If you cancel or return an item, any points you earned from that purchase will be deducted from your balance. If you have already spent those points before the return is processed, your balance may become negative. Any points you earn from future purchases will be automatically applied to clear this negative balance first. You will not be able to use new points until your balance returns to zero or higher.
Balance Tracking
You may monitor your point balance and expiration schedule under the "My Account > Reward Point" menu. The system provides a summary of total points and points set to expire within the current month. Detailed logs also allow you to view the specific earned and expiration dates for each point item.

Member Cancellation (Voluntary)
Membership in the Program is tied to your OLIVE YOUNG US customer account. To withdraw from the Program, you must close your customer account. You may request to close your account at any time through the US Online Store or by submitting an enquiry to our Customer Support team. Upon closing your account, all accumulated points will be immediately forfeited, and the account and its historical data will not be restorable.
Program Discontinuance
The Program may be terminated or discontinued at the Company's discretion. In such event, notice will be provided via the US Online Store posting or email at least thirty (30) days prior to the termination date. Any unused points and other benefits remaining after the notified termination date shall expire immediately and will not be restorable, redeemable, or exchangeable for cash.
Termination for Cause
The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your participation in the Program at any time without notice, which may include the suspension or termination of your OLIVE YOUNG US customer account for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Fraud, abuse, or any unlawful profit-seeking activities;
- Malicious transactions or violation of these Terms;
- Suspected fraudulent use of the Program.
In such event, you may immediately lose access to all earned points and benefits, and the Company reserves the right to recover points obtained through such activities.
6. Special Provisions for Members Switching from an OLIVE YOUNG GLOBAL Account
This section applies to members who switch from an OLIVE YOUNG GLOBAL account to an OLIVE YOUNG US account.
OLIVE YOUNG GLOBAL and OLIVE YOUNG US operate separate membership programs. O.Y MEMBERS is a U.S.-specific membership program operated by OLIVE YOUNG US; its O.Y MEMBERS Tier structures, qualification criteria, benefits, and operating policies are independent and differ from the OLIVE YOUNG GLOBAL membership program.
Tier Assignment and Special Adjustment Policy
Initial Membership Tier
Upon completing the account switch from OLIVE YOUNG GLOBAL to OLIVE YOUNG US, members will be assigned an initial O.Y MEMBERS Tier in accordance with the new OLIVE YOUNG US membership program.
Special Adjustment for Switched Members
As a discretionary, limited-time benefit, OLIVE YOUNG US may apply a special adjustment within the O.Y MEMBERS Tier structure for members who complete their account switch within the limited promotional period designated by OLIVE YOUNG US, which is subject to change, extension, or early termination at OLIVE YOUNG US’s sole discretion (the ‘Special Adjustment’).
As part of this adjustment, OLIVE YOUNG US may grant members a corresponding membership status rather than starting from the base tier, depending on the member’s previous OLIVE YOUNG GLOBAL membership status and current OLIVE YOUNG US membership tier, subject to applicable program criteria.
Tier Validity
The adjusted O.Y MEMBERS Tier granted under this Special Adjustment will remain valid through June 30, 2027, unless otherwise modified or terminated in accordance with OLIVE YOUNG US membership program policies.
Higher Tier Qualification
If a member qualifies for a higher O.Y MEMBERS Tier based on OLIVE YOUNG US purchase activity during the applicable period, the member may receive and enjoy the higher-tier benefits in accordance with the OLIVE YOUNG US membership criteria.
Post-Adjustment Tiering
After the applicable validity period, the member’s O.Y MEMBERS Tier may be reassessed based on OLIVE YOUNG US membership criteria, including eligible purchase activity and applicable tier qualification standards.
Points and Benefit Transfer
Point Transfer and Extension
Valid accumulated points transferred from OLIVE YOUNG GLOBAL to OLIVE YOUNG US will remain available in the switched OLIVE YOUNG US account. The expiration date of transferred points may be extended by two (2) years in accordance with the applicable account switch policy.
Point Adjustment for Prior OLIVE YOUNG US Purchases
If a member made purchases at OLIVE YOUNG US before the Special Adjustment is applied, OLIVE YOUNG US may review the member’s purchase history and, where applicable, apply additional points based on the adjusted O.Y MEMBERS Tier. Any such point adjustment, if applicable, may be applied at a later date in accordance with OLIVE YOUNG US policy.
Benefit Transfer Limitations
Upon completion of the account switch, certain OLIVE YOUNG GLOBAL benefits, reward codes, coupons, promotional benefits, wishlist items, and bag/cart items will not transfer and shall become invalid, non-transferable, or unavailable for use on OLIVE YOUNG US, unless otherwise expressly stated.
Use of Transferred Points and Benefits
Transferred points and applicable benefits may only be used within OLIVE YOUNG US, including the OLIVE YOUNG US Online Store and participating OLIVE YOUNG US Offline Stores, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
Account Switch Finality
Once an account is switched to OLIVE YOUNG US, the account switch may not be reversed. Future U.S. orders should be placed through OLIVE YOUNG US, as OLIVE YOUNG GLOBAL no longer supports purchases or shipping for customers located in the U.S.
